An Immersive Industry Experience
WHAT:
CDI Industry Immersion is a 7 day amazing summer event in NYC!
Join us for real world experiences including full audition days, agent meetings, reel filming, photos, private and open technique classes in everything from the fundamentals of hip-hop to traditional musical theatre at some of the top studios with our faculty and guests, seminars, backstage tours, fun dinners, a Broadway show, Q-n-A with NYC dancers, sightseeing, shopping, and all the best of what CDi is built on-LOVE, education and support!
WHERE:
CDI Industry Immersion will be centrally located in mid-town Manhattan. We will not be providing accommodations for this event but have partnered with WorldStrides and The Edison Hotel to provide a group rate for our participants. Dancers are also welcome to commute each day or stay anywhere in the area! Three group dinners are included but all other meals dancers will be required to provide on their own. CDI supervision will only be given during the scheduled daily activities and not for overnight accommodations.​

WHEN:
CDI Industry Immersion begins mid-afternoon on Sunday, July 20th and ends late afternoon Sunday July 27th. Program will run all day everyday throughout the 7 day event and dancers are required to be present at all classes, filming, and events.
WHO:
CDI Industry Immersion is for dancers 13 through pre-professional. We are looking for those dancers who want to make a career in the dance industry!

HOW:
CDI Industry Immersion will accept submissions Jan 1-March 1 via the button below. Dancers must submit a video that tells us about you and why you want to dance and train with us. That's it! No solos, no tricks, no learning combos. You will submit a single link in the application form which can be YouTube, Vimeo or Google drive. Make sure we have access to it and it is not set to private. BE CREATIVE!! SPACE IS VERY LIMITED.

2025 Work-study info
For our work-study staff for the Industry Immersion program dancers will need to meet a few criteria to apply:
​
1-Live in NYC as their homebase
2-Over the age of 18
3-Have attended at least one SUMMER CDi event
​
