ARE YOU READY TO WORK IN THE COMMERCIAL DANCE INDUSTRY?
YOU WILL BE.
The Commercial Dance Intensive was created in 2014 to train the next generation of dancers not only in technique, but in the skills required to be successful in the professional dance world.
CDI is focused on every aspect of a dancer's training and all the people that support them along the way.
For studio owners and college directors, we provide on location workshops bringing the best of CDI to your school. We collaborate with competition companies to bring CDI to your competitive weekend and we host local community workshops with industry professionals.
For parents we provide webinars, FB groups, online videos, and a Q-n-A during our end of summer performances-all designed to help you understand the business of dance and how to help your kids succeed in it.
For dancers, our intensives are unlike any other. CDI is so much more than just technique and choreography. CDI allows you step into the life of a professional dancer and leave more educated and prepared to make this your career.
Once you attend a CDI intensive you are in the #armyoflove and our incredible community of dancers and faculty will continue to support you throughout your dance career: anytime, every time.
This is CDI.

"I learned more about the business in two weeks at CDI than I have in my eleven years of dancing. Each seminar gave me essential insight on what it takes to be successful as a commercial dancer. Each mock audition gave me a better understanding of the way the process works along with making me more comfortable. Each class provided me with outstanding instruction from the amazing, knowledgeable faculty. As cliché as it is to say; my perspective on not only dance, but also life has changed forever. I am a different person now than I was before CDI, and I am very proud of what I have become."
-Olivia James, CDI Alumni
"Thank you for over-delivering on your promise of real-world practicality and jam-packed intensity, and congratulations for bringing together the perfect mix of teaching talent with enviable industry experience and oft-overlooked ability to reach those still wondering whether there might be a future for them in the world of commercial dance. As a young dancer giving very serious consideration to a life in the arts -with “commercial dance” very high on her current list! – our high school freshman daughter has been simply gushing about the vigorous, small group training sessions as well as the “tell-it-like-it-is” practical realism and specific/direct advice you and your faculty provide. Brava!!"
